Description | Cylindrical pyxis with flange for lid and two horizontal handles. Coarse, light red (2.5 YR 6/6) clay with light and dark inclusions, covered with red paint, with decoration in added white paint. Wiped with water. Added white: traces of spirals. Restored from fragments; some bits missing; surface eroded. From the South Wing of the "Palace," a context dating from LM I. |
