Description | Made from 4 midribs of the leaflets of the raphia palm, held together at one end by an ornamental lashing, dyed dark brown and red-brown, of strips of the leaflets [Cf. 37-22-22]. See also 37-22-286. Such brooms are carried as a symbol of their rank by adepts [Soko] of the Poro Society. |
