Description

Wood. Human. 3 brass-headed nails crosswise above each eye. 7 holes for medicine; one in top of head, one in each shoulder, 3 vertically between breasts (the middle one of these having a long metal nail extending from it) and one between legs into which a small horn containing medicine is thrust. "A similar image is made among the Mosongo which is able to talk -- the natives are skilled ventriloquists."
