Description

Crochet; Cord, Brown, Purple Stripes

Wide-mouthed bag with shoulder carrying band of fibre cord. For the bag, a close crochet stitch is used; it is begun at the centre of the bottom and knitted in ever increasing circles until the desired circumference is reached (about 1/3 from the bottom); this size is kept for the upper part of the bag. The shoulder strap is loosely woven in a "locked" pattern. The bag is ornamented with horizontal stripes of brown and purple.
