Sommerville: Chalcedony-onyx. Livia wife of Augustus. Remark the pale-green color of the garment covering her head. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case G.

Vermeule: Chalcedony-onyx. Cameo (Unmounted). Diademed veiled draped bust of a Roman empress facing to left. Probably Livia, wife of Augustus. Neo-Classic, skillfully imitating the antique.
