Description | Body ca. 0.045 m. in diam. above, tapering to 0.015 at bottom. Extremely hard, fine-grained clay, 0.008 thick, grey at core, surfaces red. Drips of dull purple glaze on exterior. On lower wall three identical stamped impressions, circular, 0.01 m, in diam.: an equal armed cross, a dot between each arm, encircled by a line of beading. Written on it in pencil: "Grace Coll. (8). On interior in red ink: "C845 P2665" |
