Description | Turquoise-green faience shabti belonging to the man Nesbastet. The shabti has a tripartite wig, modeled ears and hands which hold painted adzes. No beard. Four columns of text painted in black on the legs, which are illegible in parts. The central column gives the owner's names and titles as "The Osiris, God's Father [////], Scribe of the Treasury (?) ns-bAst.t." Painted basket on the back. |
