Sommerville: Onyx. Greek Cameo. Dajankee (also known as Daiokes or Deiokes) a Persian prince seven centuries BC. He was founder of the empire. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case I.

Vermeule: Onyx. Cameo (Unmounted). Onyx. Cameo. (Unmounted). Draped bust of an oriental personage to left. Sommerville identifies him as "Dajanikee" a Persian Prince seven Centuries B.C. He was the founder of the Empire. 16th or 17th century.
