Description | A fish container is the form of a small bulb shaped basket with a short neck made out of bamboo (ไม้ไผ่บ้าน) and rattan (หวาย). it is used to hold caught fish and frogs. There is a string looped around two eyelets so it can be tied around the waist. It has been smoked to prevent insect damage. It can also be used to store dried items such as beans and pepper over a fire where the smoke prevents insect damage and keeps food out of the way of mice.
