班毛虫. Mylabris cichorii (blister beetle). Cantharides. Used for blistering purposes, and in hydrophobia. From Sichuan province. Value at Hankou, $13 per picul. Gray powder. One of a collection of samples of Chinese medicine, each in an individual glass jar sealed with cork top.
