Description | Breast ornament of plaited double strands of twisted fiber, with bands to go around neck. Pendant is heart shaped face with ears at top, open loop nose, five points across bottom edge. Knotted ball goes through ring to fasten at back of neck. Face, nose and points covered with nassa shells. Eyes are conus disks with nassa shells, double rows of cowries on neck straps. Some red pigment on ears, around eyes and nose and on points. |
