Description | Corinthian pyxis with convex side, without handles; with lid. Intact. Lid: traces of decoration in color on a white ground on upper surfaces. Top of knob blue (?). On top surface of cover two wheel-painted bands of red and one of blue. Container: ground reserved. Red: profile of foot; wheel-painted line on shoulder and around mouth. Black: wheel-painted band around lower body, lip and shoulder. "Eretria" in pencil on bottom. |
