Description | Male cult whistle (danamanop (infants, babies)). Bent strip of bark with yetnak leaf reed. Blown at same ceremonies as 89-17-102/104. Said to sound like babies crying. See Kirsch field notes for more data. Made by Kibinok Kerek, Miripki clan, Dome village. Purchased from maker 2/18/89. This is a sacred object, Yonggom men do not want Yonggom women to see it.
