Description | Peripheral maeks and socket suggest Equatorial origin, but shape and size of blade, and spiral winding of copper on shaft seem to point to the South. Ogival blade, tang spirally twisted just below blade, socket fitting over end of shaft; five narrow and one wide band of copper wire around shaft. |
