Description | Wheelmade, with wheel ridges left unsmoothed (especially around center of vase.) Thin walled, but not fine ware; no trace of glaze or slip. Color: lt. red to yellowish. Neck missing but hole remaining on top where it was set indicates it was constriced in diameter in relation to bdy. No evidence of handles. Indistinct shouler slopes very little to GD. Short, steep ring base; convex bottom. Covered all over with barnacles and other marine life remains. |
