Description | Cephlomorhic wooden peg fetish; body of peg is cylindrical, smooth surface; front of head is diamond shape; slanted oval shaped slits represent eyes; two horizontal grooves represent the mouth; two rows of cross hatch pattern ornament the forehead area; the headpiece tapers in the center with cross hatch pattern on either side; 2cm below chin is carved a ring of slanted lines which encircle the object. Anthropomorphic. Probably used as a doll. |
