Description | Biro's Group III, p. 80, Beschreibender Katalog... Berlinhafen. Barbing: Cf. Biro, pl. XVIII, upper row, figs. 8 and 18. Barbs not in pairs; on three sides of point; damaged. Zone of carved ornament separated from point proper by plain band to which are applied Coix seeds and red feathers. For type of carved ornament, cf. Biro, pl. XVIII, lower row, figs. 9 and 14. The carving is divided into two bands. Shaft markings: cf. Biro, pl. XXIII, fig. 2. The shaft is broken. |
