Description

Sommerville: Antique paste seal. A matrimonial alliance. Antique Pastes, Case ZZZ.

Vermeule: Glass paste; imitating Onyx. Intaglio. (Unmounted) Bust of a youth to right, surmounting two clasped hands. Two objects looking like entwined branches appear to the left and to the right. Graeco-Roman, probably a ringstone used in connection with a marriage.
