Description | Dark iron bell of two thin sheets of metal soldered together at the edges. The bell itself is roughly half an oval in shape and its workmanship is fairly crude; the soldered edges apparently cracked in several places while cooling. The iron clapper is suspended as a hook from a hole near the top of the body of the bell. Another hole above this one has a loop of iron wire running through it, and this loop apparently attaches to a long thin bar of iron with a small loop at the end. |
