Description | Fired clay pitcher for drinking water. The pitcher has a thick foot base with two sets of squigly line design flanking a set of straight lines. The actual body is somewhat flat and squat with two lines of a triangle design encircling it. Has a long narrow neck. It is a very typical design. Mr. Li Hirionatha, (Lung Li ลุงลี), the principal informant during its acquisition, says it was typical of his childhood. There are black marks from an outdoor firing process. ( there is no soot present). |
