Description

Small painted buff ware jar with flaring rim, sharply carinated shoulder, flat base; handle missing, originally attached at carination. Repaired, some modern reconstruction. Paint: Reddish-brown hatched horizontal zigzag band above carination below 3 horizontal bands. Loop design flanks handle area.
