Description | Black Slip Painted II-III. Incomplete; not mended; preserving upper body, neck, rim and both handles. Depressed ovoid body; nearly straight neck; flaring , flat, inward sloping rim; 2 vertical handles from rim to shoulder. Band encircling interior just below rim; short transverse strokes across flat portion of rim; band encircling exterior of rim; tight wavy line encircling mid-neck; band encircling shoulder;body slipped and ribbed from shoulder down; ladder pattern on handles. |
