Description | Wooden shaft tapering to slightly offset butt. The head is a thick, heavy, wide, stone ring through which the shaft has been thrust and the junction filled with bitumen into each end of which a band of small shells has been pressed. The wood beyond the stone head is ornamented with simple carved lines. Same type as P 4418 |
