Description | Iron blade extends from short wooden handle; part of blade closest to the handle has a spike sticking out from each edge; above the spikes the blade tapers to a rounded point; a line composed of small notches runs lengthwise down the center of each face of the blade; several parallel lines run lengthwise down the center of each face of the blade; on the opposite side of the centerline a line composed of double notches runs lengthwise along the blade on each blade face; wooden handle is bow-tie shaped although end closer to the blade is slightly wider; handle is wrapped in copper wire. |
