The vessel is painted with a band of geometric design around the shoulder in white, black, red, and purple. There is another band of stripes on the neck in white, black, red, and purple. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. There are striations on the interior surface from smoothing tool.
