Description | Horizontally grooved ring foot, shallow body, vertically ribbed at the shoulder. Concave on top, but with a raised molded satyr-head medallion at the center. Ring handle with central rib at one side; long spout with bell-shaped mouth, grooved around the opening. Buff clay, somewhat dull black glaze, except on undnerside of foot. Intact. Large M painted on underside of foot. |
