Description | Pottery; mended and rim restored; surface abrasions. Fabric like MS892 but buff at core; completely covered, even interior of foot, with white slip. Handmade. On outside of foot four red painted horizontal bands and two zones of zigzag; outside of bowl. sets of three parallel chevrons, moored together by one or more diagonals. Three zones of zigzag on upper surface of grooved rim. Two string holes. |
