Votive hand towel (Hônô tenugui). Tan background with blue letters. Japanese characters say Kanda Tokyo (address); Nakagaki (name). Label reads: "Kiomizu temple, Ueno Park, Tokio. Buddhist priest very courteously took them from before the altar for Prof. Sommerville."
