Description | Brown with white letters. Half square with a tear drop symbol. Japanese characters say Tokyo beikoku torikiki nakagainin (merchant of rice); Tel. -645. Label reads: "Three sacred towels from Sengakuji temple, or more fully Banshozan Sengakuji Shiba Kurumacho, Takanawa. The aged priest let Prof. Sommerville have these towels in the most friendly manner. Here lie buried the 47 Ronins forced to commit Hiki-Kidi (Hara-Kiri)." |
