Description | Intact. Thin, constricted, disk foot; ovoid body; articulated neck, slightly concave cylindrical; trefoil lip; strap handle from shoulder to lip. Unglazed except as follows. Narrow black band on foot and lower body. Single black line around middle of lower body. Around point of greatest circumference is a broad glazed band with a wheel-pointed line above and below; a red band wheel painted in center of broad glazed band. In handle zone groups of five or six tongues. In neck zone three groups of four or five superimposed wavy lines. Cf. MS2615. |
