Description | CBS Register: Seal cylinder. Diorite. Serpentine. Sargonic. PBS XIV: The worshiping of a seated goddess with one hand extended below a flat crescent. She wears a flounced robe. She is approached by two divine attendants in plaited robes and two human worshipers in fringed shawls. The first has one hand extended as if introducing the procession. The second keeps both hands clasped. The third lifts one hand in sign of adoration. The last probably carried a pail with liquid offerings. Concave cyl. seal, much worn. Black diorite, 32 ½ x 21 ½ mm. MS Coll. |
