Description | Cf. 29-89-276. The notched collar is greatly reduced in length. The zone with ornamental barbing does not follow the notched collar but is separated from it by an extra carved zone. The barbs on the point are set off by a U-shaped groove; this widens behind and passes into the undercutting of the lowest barb on one side and into that of a single similar barb on the other. There are 9 barbs in the vertical row, of which the lowest forms a symmetrical pair with the single barb on the other side. The row lies behind a cone-shaped offset of the point. Undecorated bamboo butt. With 29-88-265 to 29-89-279 compare P 3434 and P 3434 a to d. |
