Description | Shape: Conical bowl with slightly ogival profile, without handles. Fabric: Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay with pink (7.5YR 7/4) to red (2.5YR 5/6) slip and decoration in red (2.5YR 5/6) to dark reddish brown (5YR 3/2) paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: "In-and-out" bowl. Interior has two bands at bottom of bowl, with zone of wavy zigzags above. Rim painted; ripple patterns (tortoise shell ripple) on exterior, with band below. Resting surface slipped but unpainted. Condition: only one side extant. |
