Description | Puppet of same type as 85-1-22. Face red, rest of skin gold. Bulging round black eyes, small nose, open mouth with big upper lip. Headdress with point in band across brow, ear ornaments, and garuda mungkur. Angular red ornaments at upper arms and wrists. Wrists flexed, red talons, Brown velvet band around neck and from shoulder to waist in front. Gold sash with woven checkered pattern. Batik skirt, much faded; overall pattern of tendrils and small commas, with large birds; border of raspberry pink flowers and leaves at bottom. Unidentified male character form the Ramayana; a warrior of Rama. |
