Description

Pottery; restored, ornament partly effaced. Fabric medium fine texture; core dark grey, surface reddish brown where unpolished, deep copper red with pinkish tinge elsewhere. Probably wheelmade. Upper surface of rim grooved; base bell-shaped and perforated with arrow-like opening alternating up and down. On neck band, stripes, frieze of brids; bulb, narrow bands, wavy line, row of men holding hands and their garments ornamented with dots, heads to right; base two friezes-lower horsemen to right upper: seems to have been horses and geometric motifs.
