Description | Two dark colored wood paddle shaped pieces of wood. Paddles have a movable joint at the end of the handle. The two handles are held together with round bamboo braiding. The paddles themselves are pear shaped with the interior side of each carved out to form a casing for the parts of the scale: a thin, ivory/bone? ruler with metal attachments, a round metal tray, a tiny weight and strings attaching tese objects to each other. |
