Description | Salacot- outside of fine split bamboo, inside of inner heart of bamboo- notice cloth inserted for decoration."Open checker weave. Closer weave outside. Inside wider weave forms inner crown to fit snugly on head. Bound to hoop of bamboo at brim with bamboo splints. Outside has four flower shaped pieces of red cloth at sides and one on crown, showing thru weave. Palm leaf inner lining. Chin strap of single strand of split bamboo. |
