Description | Tomb 2B = Herscher Tomb 802B. Red polished III gourd juglet. Fragmentary. Soft fine light yellow clay. Lustrous dark orange slip. Round base, piriform body; neck not preserved, round spout, everted rim; vertical handle, round in section, from rim to upper body. Incised decoration (preserved): concentric circles joined by groups of parallel lines; on neck, horizontal lines. Cf. 802A.53; 810C.14, 813B.26. |
