Description

Shawl (selendang).. Maroon fabric with lighter red and at edges. Eight narrow yellow stripes. Scattered gold embroidery in middle. Bands of woven and embroidered gold and sequins at both ends. Patterns include pucuak rebung, barantai (interlocking chain), mata kambing (goat's eyes) and sayik galamai. Maroon fringe with multi-colored tassels. Several worn patches.
