Description | CBS Register: fragment of terracotta figurine, woman (?) with arms crossed at breasts. early Babylonian PBS XVI: Male figure of a primitive type, modelled by hand. Same pinched nose, pellet eyes, absence of ears and mouth, and no neck. The arms are attached separately, bend and crossed, in the position of the servant or worshiper. Fingers and bracelets are incised. Even men wore bracelets. The turban is a separate band of clay tied about the head. |
