Description | Large oval baobab pod, with stem. The dark outer skin has been scratched to produce designs by revealing the lighter colored woody layer below. Designs include three (?) emu, two large birds with long beaks, one small bird flying, a scorpion, two snakes, a centipede and three spray of leaves. Traces of shiny red pigment (?) inside outlines of creatures and leaves. |
