Description | Flaring rim; short, wide, vertical neck; buff ware slightly overfired to green; carination at midpoint of body; flat base. 2 opposing horizontal handles, projecting out (up) from shoulder at 45 degree angles. Some burnishing on exterior. Paint: Geometric design, red-brown color. On shoulder. Series of hanging triangles composed of double lines connected by dashes. Triangles are hanging from lower of two horizontal bands. On one side of pot these triangles have dots at apexes. Handles are framed on sides and bottoms by double lines connected by dashes, with large solid circles at the bottom of the vertical lines. There are also dots or solid circles around the top of the rim. |
