Description | Large part of neck and all of handle except points of attachment missing. Flat bottom. Lower part of cup is very shallow, profile angular. Upper part (neck) is much taller than lower part and is concave in profile. Handle would have been of vertical strap variety. Only the lower part and all the interior were glazed. A glazed wavy line around neck. Very hard, pinkish brown clay. Dull, washy glaze. |
