Description | Relief of a goddess of creamy sandstone. Material and water worn condition point to river bed at Mathura. Seated female figure holding what looks like a distaff, or a swaddled baby, on her left arm. Hair in 2 knobs; earrings; halo; prominent breasts. Much water worn. Durga. |
