Description

A. Head of woman facing left, i profile. Back hair covered by a kerchief. Front hair around forehead is in a prominent roll, bound at intervals by white stripes. No necklace, no earring.

B. Head of woman facing left, in profile. No kerchief over hair. Hair bound only by a plain white fille. No necklace, no earring.

A large palmette under each handle. A hole in floor of krater was made by the potter to provide communication of contents with area of stem and base. A false bottom provided near bottom of base.
