Description

Standing figure of Sakka, king of celestial beings in Tavatimsa heaven. He wears a Mahalatta gown and a Makuta crown. The right hand is raised to the chest holding an object, possibly a conch shell. Stands on a small circular base attached to figure. Probably one of the bronze effigies made to enshrine in the relic chambers by donors.
