Description

Headdress in form of animal. Hoop wound with raffia to rest on head; animal legs (4) wound with raffia attached to this. Body of animal of white cloth painted with black lines and red bands. Long tail of bound cloth painted black. Head of black gummy substance with inset shell eyes and fish teeth. Native name djuyo. Worn by Tape, chief of whole community.
