Description | A statuette of a warrior mounted on a horse made in the round. It is made of a reddish sandstone which is much worn (possibly from water). There is a lion between the horse's forefeet. Two animals appear below and seem to be trodden upon by the right foot of the rider. The warrior has a high crest over his head which runs down the back. He holds a bowl (?) in his right hand and a long sword hangs down to the ground on his left side. |
