Description

Collection of 29 game pieces for playing janggi (장기) also known as Korean chess. A typical set consists 32 pieces including two Generals (将), four chariots (車), four elephants (象), four horses (馬), four cannons (包), four guards (士), and ten soldiers (卒,兵). Each piece consists of an octagon shaped piece of wood with either a red or green Chinese character on both sides. Three pieces are missing, two soldiers and chariot. There is a net bag (17600C) for storage.
