Description | A protective text (raksa) in verse giving instructions on warding off various ills, followed by instructions related to entry into monastic life. The manuscript contains two different texts other than Sawatdi Raksa, namely, the latter part of Prathom Ko Ka Hat An (page 1r to 3r line 3 ) and the beginning part of Phleng Yao Phali Son Nong Kham Klon (page 3r line 4 to 11r; page 3v to14v) Thai (Thai and Khmer). Written in 4 lines per segment. Written on black khoi paper in yellow ink and chalk (Khmer script); folded concertina- or accordion-style. Upper cover attached, plain, with title; lower cover missing. Probably written in the 1880s. |
